Frosthold is online. It is a private 3.3.5a realm running AzerothCore: free, with no shop, and with registration open from today. No waiting list, no access keys, nothing to buy.
It opens on phase 1, “The floating necropolis”: the raid content from the start of the patch, without skipping chapters to reach the ending sooner.

The phases that follow, and what each one opens, are written down in Progression. The rule behind them is short: a date is only announced when it can be met, and rather than give a date that has expired, no date is given at all.
Two things are needed to join: an account and a copy of the game on 3.3.5a. The rest is one line of text in the realmlist file.
What is not promised
The service is free and comes with no guarantee of availability: the realm can restart or be out of service for a while. Backups are taken, but nothing guarantees that data is never lost. That is what the rules say, and that is where it will stay.
